Jess Howard

Jess rodeoed for a number of years in the Northern part of this country. He moved to warmer climate and shod horses for 20 years in Fallon, Nevada. He now runs a few cows on a ranch South of Marmarth, North Dakota, shoes horses as well as drives truck.

He was a "closet" poet for many years - just the past eight years has he been going public. Jess has been the featured poet at gatherings in Meddora. North Dakota, Lewistown, Montana, Durango, Colorado, Kanab, Utah, Valentine, Nebraska just to name a few. 

He has been invited to Elko, Nevada as a performer for several years. Jess and his brother Pat from California write poetry together and they never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
