Eddie Dean's BBQ

The Legend of Eddie Deen

Eddie Deen knows the catering business. From his small lakeside barbecue restaurant in Wills Point, Texas, back in 1980, Eddie Deen has built one of the largest catering businesses in the nation. Eddie was raised in East Texas on his mother's home cooking, and uses many of her recipes in his restaurant and catering operations.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Eddie began applying scientific methods to the meat smoking process. This careful attention to detail brought Eddie Deen fame not only statewide, but also nationally as the top barbecue caterer in Texas.

The Best Taste in Texas and Beyond
It takes a taste as big as Texas to create a legend. So it's no surprise every menu item is made from scratch. And while Eddie got his start in barbecue, he continues to broaden his tastes. With more than 30 different established menus there is something to fit any occasion or theme. There is no substitute for quality and tradition. And that's why customers near and far are happy to have Eddie cater their events again and again. Whether its steak or enchiladas you're deciding between, Eddie will be sure to find the right taste for you.

Recipes for Success
There is no mystery to the success of Eddie Deen. After 20 years of feeding Texans some of the best quality food available anywhere, Eddie Deen has established himself as one of the most sought after event planners and caters in the Southwest.

But don't just take our word for it. Others have great things to say about Eddie Deen as well. In 1995, Eddie Deen & Co. was chosen to cater Governor George W. Bush's Inaugural celebration. Not only was Eddie Deen able to serve 14,000 guests in just 45 minutes, they were voted best Inaugural event. In 2001, Eddie Deen served as the official caterer at the Presidential Inauguration for George W. Bush. He served over 32,000 people during the 11 day celebration.

Your First Taste
Last year, Eddie Deen & Co. catered over 4,000 events, and this year Eddie promises to bring his legendary taste to even more hungry Texans. From Lake Tahoe to DC and all points in between Eddie will enjoy serving thousands their first taste of his East Texas Barbecue.
