Buckland Bows

Buckland Bows is a family business we all get in on the fun and make various crafts. We make everything from the glue we use in our sinew backed bows to Hickory bow backings, toys, brain tanned leather, leather pouches, knives, Atlatls and bath salts

I have been shooting and working with bows for over 40 years. Since 1991 when I left the Marine Corps I have made over 2000 hand crafted wood bows. I use mostly North American woods in the construction of the bows. Until my father passed away 2 years ago he enjoyed making bows from the exotic woods from South America and Africa. Our bows are all wood. We do not use fiber glass. They are excellent for the traditional shoote/ hunter, reinacter as well back yard plinking at an empty milk jug.
